just finished listening to EP 14 and for the last two episodes there have been way too many subplots that are just fillers to extend the length of the book. Example from this latest episode was the whole super falcon testing. Nothing was gained to enhanced the story and just had me fast forwarded through it. Also can we stop with constantly saying "blue/white jump flash" or the "window goes opaque" through out the story. We know by now that is what happens. Also please kill Josh that character is annoying.
Updating technology to make it better makes sense. Updating Weapons and vehicles to be for use during a war makes sense. Yes those sections of the story can seem like filler, but those kinds of activities happen.
The Flash happens, it can seem to be over used, but then jump drives are being used constantly.
To many Subplots? I like the diversions, a story that is too linear can be boring.
