I would like to start out by thanking the Author for a great series and for his hard work. However, I am only up to chapter 2 of the audiobook and found that I don't understand how he has overlooked small but important details that leave me wondering why things don't make sense. In episode 14 Nathan was in contact with Gen Gogel of the Alliance, but so far has not contacted them to let them know they are coming to help protect the Sol Sector, and it is up to the General to figure out that the Aurora and Atlantis are there to help protect the reserve fleet. Then after seeing that the swarms are protecting the jump gates from being attacked, why the Alliance does not reverse the tactic and send a weapon through to destroy them on reentry at the other end?
Just some thoughts.
