I have been seeing more and more cases of aquaponics in food production globally. It seems a really good use of limited resources to produce fresh vegetables and fish while being a handy way of freshing both the air and water in a closed system environment. Considering the technology and knowhow to create a working aquaponics system is available these days, it stands to reason something similar could be employed down the line in the PC Alliance fleet to help reduce the dependence on planet based food supplies.
Cam would love that. Vlad would like the challenge of making one, and the fish if not the greens... something to consider for the Mystic maybe?
