Ryk,
Take the time to heal ... we'll wait impatiently like the children we all are, but we don't want you to finish one book, we want you to write the whole series.
God bless you.
P.S. When I wrote a few user manuals 30 years ago, I used a dictaphone and a secretary... worked really well. My secretary was an excellent editor and a much faster typist that I ever became.... When I typed it myself, I thought a bit more about what I was writing and a one pass product was better thought out than the first dictated draft, so I would always edit that dictated draft for content and flow and then give it back to the secretary... It was still a lot faster than just me typing it, and I think a better result. The key to all this is the right secretary.
David Weber has been dictating his books for almost 20 years since he shattered a wrist and could not type.
Ryk suggest you contact Davd Webber and find out if he uses Dragon Naturally speaking program
@Ryk, I'm also learning to Dragon, the problem I have with it is the made up names, like how do you tell it to spell Talon, Ghatazhak, and other made up names like that? I know you can do it letter by letter but it would be nice if it would learn it one time and then you just say it.
