Great. Thank you for sharing.

I'd love to hear your strategy with Scrivener.

Just started using it and I have yet to find the best way to manage the flow.

Ryk, Thank you for your outline. I was wondering what happened also. I am VERY glad to hear that you are doing better!!!!(Health wise). Just keep writing them I will keep getting them. Love the series. I have not really read fall of the core yet. I started too then I was distracted.

So the plan now is book 14 in late August, 15 in October, Fall of the Core as an entire book in December, a novel I wrote before I started the Saga (also SciFi) will come out in February of 2106,

Looks like Ryk has discovered the formula for the Takaran Youth Serum. Care to share? 🙂
Anyway, I'm glad to hear that part 14 will probably come out late in September, maybe early October. (That was the meaning of "hopefully in late August", wasn't it?)

For me, to avoid Carpal Tunnel getting worse, I had to make sure my arms are supported. No floating keyboard, no keyboard on the edge of my desk, and no keyboard in my lap. I had to put my screens way back on my desk with the keyboard about halfway across the desk. Then my elbows are on the desk, so that my arms are supported. Due to my age of 51, I use 27" monitors. Due to my job and geekiness I use four monitors on two CPUs. Four large monitors means a large steel arm to support two of them up off the surface in a 2x2 arrangement.

My current arrangement means I am leaning forward on the desk a little bit. From what I have seen, no arrangement is perfect, but this one has eliminated the Carpal Tunnel issue for me.

Reading is usually done in a recliner with a kindle when possible. iPad when my daughter takes the Kindle. 🙂

From my experience, it's much easier and better to have one 55/65 inch 4k Monitor instead of 4 27's.. Only need 1 CPU .. dont need a KVM or dual keyboard/mice. The new 4k monitors are beautiful and prices are dropping rapidly. You can wall mount it and keep everything within one easy environment. I love my 4k monitor .. would never go back to small monitors.

You know you are excited for the next book in the series when you search through thousands of other books and cant get further than the second chapter because you just know how it can be better.... (seriously my kindle has download fatigue!) I just figured out that I have to stop trying to read other books for a bit because i am just not giving them a fair chance... So i will be just sitting in the corner waiting patiently... more or less... 🙂
