Ryk

Firstly hello, And thank you for the world.

I am a cheat reader and get the audio books, so I would like to know how load after the print of book 13 is real eased will the audio version come out?

I like audiobooks, too, but still read print versions. That being said, if an audiobook version is unavailable, there are test-to-speech apps that will read the text out loud to you. Most of the free voices aren't perfect so you have to pay extra attention to what is being 'spoken.'

Haters gonna hate, but....

Ryk where in God's name is episode 13? It's coming up for 6 months now and I've lost count of how many deadlines have come and gone. Your fans, as loyal as they maybe now will lose interest including me. Do you realise at your current rate it will take approximately 31 years to complete the planned 75 episodes? I'm not sure I will live that long! And don't you haters make out your not thinking the same! I've been a loyal fan since episode 1.

That said, obviously still love the series!

Evil "Writers Block"?
What soured me on the R. R. Martin GOT series was that after a flurry of novels, waiting multiple "Years" for any follow-up, has me thinking that only the insanely successful, financially gold mine of the HBO series will be the only thing forcing it's completion (:

I prefer to think the next book is only a few months away, rather then it being roughly 25 years to completion... ( 75-13=62 books to go, 3 books a year, with a year long gap between each parts.) Oh God! Now I've taught about it!!!

When I was younger I wrote about 8 chapters into a novel, then my computer died and I lost everything... after that I decided to focus on reading. I had given a copy of about 5 chapters to a buddy of mine beforehand, and I have those onto my current computer, but I haven't done anything with it since.

Writing is hard, I can never think of Names for people, places, etc., and I really hate it when you spend a day looking at a page and knowing what to do with the characters next but not right now... Then you build a character to die, and like them so you kill off 20 other people to make up for keeping them alive... Did I just become GRR Martin?

It would probably be a very short book,if it is hiding inside יהוה. So, I'm glad to know that Ryk has sent it to the proofreader and we are waiting on them, and then the final bits needed for publishing. If truly loyal, they won't lose interest, only of semi loyal and entitled, will they 🙂 you should try to live as long as you can, but if you don't, well enjoy the books you have time to read and don't worry or be concerned about those written after your demise. The book will be out when it is out, and not a moment before.
Peace,

A lot have changes have taken place in my life since I published the first episode. I have learned a lot about what works, and what doesn't work. I have learned what I am capable of, and what I am not. Most importantly, I have learned how to balance my commitment to my readers with my commitment to my family, as well as myself.

Steps are being taken to speed up production, possibly even enabling me to bring even more stories than I imagined to your eyes. Few (to my knowledge) if any, have undertaken such a project. Trust that your patience shall be rewarded greatly in time.

Too much past leads to depression. Too much future leads to anxiety.

Ep 13 is not here yet. Not in the present, then worry not, fellow readers, or you'll get any of those two awful feelings.

You people have got to let the man do his thing.
Great art doesn't just happen it takes time.
If people had bugged Einstein about his theory of relativity like you are doing to Ryk he would have thrown up his hands and said walk to the moon!
I for one am grateful that Ryk takes the time to read and post on this forum.
What other writers listen to suggestions and criticism like he does?
By participating in this forum I feel like we are helping the man do something great.
Who knows maybe the hair brained idea I come up with will be a main part of one of the stories!--NOT
Ryk I think your books are great and as far as I am concerned you take all the time you need to make the stories great

A quick question.
How many times each day do you check to see if episode 13 is here?

I'm guilty of two to three. (even on Sundays)

Thanks for the come back Goose.
I have written many papers but more along the boring professional lines. As a 100% Purple Heart, (4), Disabled Vet with over 30+ years in the Marine Corps, I counsel my fellow warriors. Downside, their Demons tend to rekindle and feed my nightmares also.
And Yes! I have my own shrink and get counselled regularly too!
Self medication is not an option as I do Substance Abuse counseling also, LOL.
Some of combats deepest wounds leave no visible scars.
Read, write, talk, share, . . . isn't what we all do? . . . in our own way of course?

Lol. Are you really comparing one of the greatest minds the human race has ever known to a fictional author? I think you might need a reality check. And what did the theory of relativity have to do with going to the moon?

Thanks Captain Peter, suicide and drug abuse claimed so many of us from the Vietnam Era. My own cousin was dead before he reached 30 and all the ribbons and awards didn't keep him alive a day longer. He needed more help than I could give because I was fighting my own daemons. I still feel like I failed him. (And yes, I take anti-depressants to fight, not for myself, but for my family.)
