While the mainstream Frontiers Saga novels have been unquestionably adult-oriented, I've had the pleasure of reading an excellent series or standalone novel of Young Adult science fiction from time and time too. I'm curious, Mr. Brown, whether or not you believe there is room for stories within the Frontiers Saga universe that have a teenage protagonist. Perhaps something about a teenage survivor of the Bio-Digital Plague and their struggles to survive? Or the adventures of a teenage Josh on the streets of Haven? Maybe even something similar to Arrival with a shipload of teenage survivors escaping the BDP to colonize a new planet? A subseries dedicated to a teenage protagonist could potentially allow you to tap into a market of teenage science fiction readers and expand your readership base.

I might license someone to write such, but I wouldn't do it. I was never a teenager. 😉

@gbone From the initial Jung invasion that occurred decades before the Aurora liberated Tanna or orphans resettled on another world after Tanna was destroyed?

Personally I like my idea of the adventures of a teenage Josh on the streets of Haven. Running from Ta'Akar soldiers, angry molo farmers because he broke the hearts of their daughters, and a younger Marcus.

I was thinking of Evacuted children.

One or two bad apples that were outside of town doing youth corrective type activities take a chance in the confusion. Breaking free of supervision on a new world they fall into a rough crowd only to learn of associations with the Jung underground. The end up exposing said Jung and saving the local government. Good stuff.
