Everyone who landed on the planet was probably inoculated for the what ever it was that was changing them - but it was one plant that was curing them. What ever environmental factors were at play would be very difficult to irradicate i would imagine, it would probably be easier to innoculate... now maybe the locals then became immune! and the DB Plauge wouldnt have caused everyone to fall into the trap, becoming monsters...
Which brings me to the Jung and Terran Spec ops that arrived on Tua Ceti after the plague... they wouldn't know right off to inoculate for this / especially if the locals are now immune. They would be spotted by the locals when they started turning blue.
And I for one would be very upset if i bumped into a blue man who was not part of the Blue Man Group...
So re-watching the trailer yet once again and noticed something. Why do the boxcars have no defensive weapons?
@mike Boxcars are transport craft. Even in today's militaries most transport craft don't have armaments.
What is a Boxcar/Cargo hauler going to fire at a gunboat?
Also I do think that Boxcars in the Alliance should be outfitted with some form of chaff launchers - even if Jung Gunboats will have the sensors to spot them as soon as they move in space... because space is big and a chaff cloud ball will disperse in seconds... but on ground drops then it would be very useful for cover... I guess this whole idea is stupid... especially when Boxcars are not meant to be involved in any dangerous actions and/or can jump away...
Anyone else think the trailer could have been better with sound? Maybe a voice over or something?
I personally was happy to have the trailer. I keep looking for the pre-order page to come up...(hums to self...happpy birthday to meeee)
Ok, it is officially mid May. Still noting firm about the release date of episode 16. Can anybody advise the official release date so I can stop checking Amazon 10 times a day.
Ah, has the trailer on the homepage changed recently? Because I swear that ship that looks like a Super Falcon in the bottom right hand corner wasn't there before.
Jason @darkscribe, I just rewatched the trailer again, and I see what you are saying about the Still of the cover the Super Eagle at the bottom right, but its not in the Video clip.
So I also have another question about small craft/cargo craft deployment. In the beginning of the video, you see the bow of the ship opening something like a small craft air lock, and then as the view pans out, you see the whole top of the ship sliding away. What is the reasoning behind both airlock and roof opening at the same time?
@mike The Super Falcon is in the trailer on the homepage, but not in the trailer on this page. But, I'm more interested in the fact that the release date has now been moved up to Friday instead of next Tuesday.
As for the airlock opening and the roof retracting, I couldn't say. The inclusion of a retractable roof could be a method of loading more cargo more quickly or loading larger cargo. But, that would only apply while in port I would assume. Maybe it's an emergency procedure to permit the boxcars to more rapidly leave the ship.
