Anyone else finish a couple days ago? Although there wasn’t much Aurora action, I did like this book a lot. Loved the heist aspect. Honestly didn’t see the Josh and crews deaths coming. Still not sure who the big baddy is going to be. Jorim is starting his own pocket empire but don’t see how that is going to be a threat in the near future. Definitely setting up for next part. Still waiting for someone to pop up to challenge the crew. Any guesses at to who?
I thought this book was okay. I am not sure who the baddie will be for the next series, if there is one. The arc with Jorim will wrap up. I hope the next one does not include the Jung, tired of those arcs. Looks to me like Ryk is starting to tie up some loose ends with the original crew, in order to shift the story to more exploration. Obviously, the "hack" tech that the pirates had will be used in one of the last two books, or with the Alliance later. Kind of tired of Deliza being a demi-god character, if I am honest. I would not mind a spin-off of life on Libertara. I hope the bio-digital plague stuff gets wrapped up, been a long wait for that. The AI from those books has to still be around somewhere.
