Was the Pentaurus Cluster settled by one expedition landing on a single world and subsequently branching out to the other worlds of the Cluster or were there multiple expeditions that settled the same area? If the former, was the world initially colonized Takar or one of the other worlds? If the latter, were the expeditions coordinated by a central group or were they separate expeditions that chose the same destination by coincidence? Where did the name Pentaurus Cluster come from?

I cannot answer questions whose answer has yet to appear in story.

And why does it matter?

I believe the name originates from the stars in the area... Penta=five.

Also if you open the star map and look at the stars from a certain angle: it looks like a bulls head, Or a Taurus in ancient Greek, where the number five was of special significance,

The five rivers of the Greek underworld
Acheron - The river of pain - Corinair
Cacytus - The river of wailing - Haven
Phlegethon - The river of fire - Korak
Lethe - The river of forgetfulness - Savoy (because we haven't seen them in a while & I almost forgot about them)
Styx - The river of hate - Takara

You see?- Proof that its all the ancient Greek's fault! Its a conspiracy 1000's of years in the making!!! Its a complete cluster f- OMG Cluster! Pentaurus Cluster!!!

It doesn't necessarily matter. My interest mainly stems from curiosity about the universe you've created. We don't know that much about the exodus of humanity to escape the Bio-Digital Plague or the settlement of the Pentaurus Cluster aside from rather general references here and there throughout the episodes. I mean, the Netcasts mainly cover the course of the Plague on Earth through the eyes of Hanna Bohl (at least the parts of it we've seen). And her viewpoint is limited to the events that involve her.
