In the series so far, we've seen an evolution of a variety of jump procedures (i.e. announcing an imminent jump shipwide, counting down to the jump, the lighting in the ship turning a pale blue 5 seconds before a jump and staying blue until the jump is completed, etc.). So, what are the most current standard procedures followed when jumping a ship?
As far as I can tell its like this
Standard operation:
1) announce X minute(s) to jump (1-5 depending on crew readiness)
2) announce 10 seconds
3) Jump lighting turns pale blue & announce 5 seconds and count down
4) Jump
5) Jump lights deactivate, announce safe from jump
Combat operations:
1) Jump lighting turns pale blue & announce 5 seconds and count down
2) Jump
3) Jump lights deactivate
Escape/Snap Jump / should happen like this:
1) Jump lighting quickly flashes pale blue three times as the jump fields are initiated, jumping on the 3rd flash.
