I was examining the star charts on this site of the Sol Sector and Pentaurus Cluster and I noticed that several of the stars in the Sol Sector were labeled as "Expanded System". I recognized the labels of Core and Fringe, but what does Expanded mean?

Sol and the Core worlds are comparible in population and industrialization.

The Expanded systems are systems that were colonized and had grown to a substantial size before the BD plague.

The Fringe are the Foothold Colonies that had been in place for long enough to be marked on a star map, but were reliant on supplies from the Core worlds to survive.

Core = Developed = 1st world / Expanded = Developing / Fringe = Undeveloped = 3rd World

What I want to know is if the star map will ever have the option to show other stars that have not been populated ie show the systems that could be used for Gravity Assists (if we are ever going to use them again) or for explanetary mining or what ever.

I new 3D star map system is being worked on. It will display ALL stars, not just the ones of interest.
