oh Timothy Dalton, Mr bond himself I can see him casted for 3 roles tug, Max, or that jung general that escaped at the end of book 10
Dalton could be either Tug or Caius - I think he and Slattery both play the charming but smarmy role very well, which would be perfect for Caius, IMO. I pictured Tug a bit more rough and tumble, though. If we're casting a Bond for him, I'd go more with Pierce Brosnan, and I think he'd pair well with Slattery for Caius.
Thinking that Nathan Fillion should be Capt. Roberts...just as a bit of a tease. I'd like Samuel Roukin (Simcoe in Turn) as de Winter. They're basically the same character, and he plays it really well.
Need someone grizzled for Marcus...maybe Donal Louge.
good call on donal louge and Samuel Roukin Aaron but to be honest when reading in my mind i picture either Ron Perlman or Matt Frewer for marcus
I was thinking Scarlett because of how business like she appeared in the Marvel films.
As for Caius I was thinking someone more maniacal in just their appearance ..... Tim Curry
Marcus.... hummm how about Bruce Willis? Or R. Lee Ermy? Huh huh? Whadda think?
How about Chris Evans for Nathan Scott? He's young enough and has the ability to go from the 'I'm worried about this' look to the 'I'm gonna kick some butt' look pretty well.
I know I'm pulling down some pretty high price talent in my suggestions. I'm treating this like a fantasy football roster.
I picture someone stockier than Frewer, like he just came out of a NYC taxi mechanic shop. Perlman might work, I guess.
Think Alan Tudyk should be in there somewhere...maybe Lt. Telles.
Oh, and Zoe Saldana for Nash.
Borg: I think if Scarlett is in there, Jalea would be the perfect role for her.
R. Lee Ermy is too military for Marcus he's Anti marcus would be perfect for that Major Waddell tho since most Corinari are vets would make a good major Waddell. in my mind i see WWE wrestlers as Ghatazhak soldiers like Dwayne Johnson as Lt Telles
Alan Tudyk would make a good Prechitt tho the CAG in my mind i see David James Elliott as Prechitt
I don't know Aaron I think Zoe Saldana for Nash is too petite. She's not a punch them in the throat and kick them in the ribs as they are gasping for air type. The unfortunate part is that I can't think of an actress under 40 who fits the bill. Is my age showing? lol
Omoro: don't see Ermy as Waddell...I think he's too old. Trying to think of the right actor who is maybe 45-50 and a combat veteran. Also, on the Ghazatak, I think the WWE guys are too big for them. They struck me as more compact but RIPPED. Tudyk could be Prechitt, but I like him more as the guy with the hidden, yet interesting personality.
BOrg: you may be right about Saldana being too petite. They'd probably shoot for Jennifer Lawrence - just thinking of Hunger Games.
J-Law I see more For the role of Cam -Vanessa Ferlito or maybe even Serinda Swan from the show Graceland i see more for Nash.
The problem I have with picking an actress for Nash is that I keep thinking of Jenette Goldstein in Aliens. Now I know she is too old to be playing the young Jessica Nash but it's the type of character I've come to associate with Nash.
But having said that, and having no alternatives at the moment, I'd put in a vote for Jennifer Lawrence as Nash.
well if your looking for an actress that can pull off the look Jenette Goldstein did in Aliens i would say Michelle Rodriguez is your best bet but the problem is i don't see Michelle as a flirt. She can definitely do the tough girl role but to be sexy and a flirt too i don't see it. Thats why i don't see Michelle as a great actress because she's too one dimensional outside of the tough girl role her acting seems flat. Vanessa and Serinda has both done Roles where they can do both. I have to be honest and say I have not been able to see enough of Jennifer's work to cast a vote for her. when i look at Jennifer i see the girl next door goody two shoes kind of person thats why I feel she would make a good By-the-book no- nonsense Cameron.
Lawrence can definitely play tough - was Katniss in Hunger Games and was tough as nails in Silver Linings - but does it with some fun, which is why I like her as Nash. Cam is, to me, very stuffy and prototypically "English" or "Belgian."
Omoro and Aaron both make good points about Lawrence. I'm not withdrawing my vote for her as Nash but I think Michelle Rodriguez has potential as Nash. I really only know her from the Resident Evil movie, I guess it would have to come down to a screen test.
