I know this might be blasphemy but I actually prefer to listen to the audio book as I worked 15 hours a day would like to know when the new audiobook for book 14 is due to be released I was under the impression that the audiobook and the book itself will be released on the same day wanted to know if this is going to be something that would be in the future or something that got scratched at the last minute.
@mandreh The Audio Books for Part one, have consistently been released after the release of the actual book. This is because Ryk releases books as soon as they are ready. Audio recording takes time, and actually scheduling someone to read the book (ie professional voice actors generally will have a queued of other projects) and when you don't know the date that a book will be completed you can only start looking for a voice actor after the book is complete. then editing has to be completed...
The good thing for you, and all the other Audio book fans, is that for Part 2 Ryk will be releasing the audio book at the same time as the kindle book. He is planning to hold back the release of the first 2 Episodes until the Third is ready, (roughly 9-12 months of a wait from Episode 15) thereby giving him a time buffer to keep a firm release schedule and to allow audio books to be released at the same time as the books.
In the mean time Mike, grab a copy to read for yourself. Ep14 is a good one.
thank you very much for clarifying that for me I recently started to listen to the book and over a period of two weeks listen to all 13 episd release date for episode is there a scheduled release date for episode 14. and if not what is typically to wait time between the release date and the release of the audiobooks as I stated before I prefer to listen to the book as I typically spend 14 to 15 hours of my 24 hour day working listen to the books while working the working.

No idea, I read them. Keep an eye on the website/ or on amazon.
If you buy the Kindle Book you get the Audiobook as well when it is ready, I found this out with 13 you can either listen to them on the audible App or the kindle one.
