I would just like to take a moment to thank Ryk for a few things, First the great story he is writing as well as all the off shoot content he has provide for our reading enjoyment. He is creating an Iconic series of books and is allowing us to be a part of it.

I started reading his work after the second book was released and have been an ardent follower ever since, which leads me to the second thing we should thank Rky for--He promised to keep the cost of the books at $4 when Amazon was trying to screw all the authors and he as kept his word! To this day the books are still $4. He is a man of his word and we should show him the respect he deserves for keeping his promise.

Lastly we should thank him for all his hard work. I am sure that this journey he has allowed us to ride with him has been tough and I for one am glad I can see what he does and comment on it as if I matter. He is now and always will be my favorite author!

Thanks Ryk

I was listening to a Dead Robots society podcast about amazon, and audible, and how much they are continuing to find ways to screw you guys, (authors and creators )

I saw in your Ryks Log from a while back, that you were considering pulling your books from amazon exclusive and going to a wide spread, with other sales points or direct buy.

Did this ever happen? i have a few friends that i got into your series, that tend to wait for the audiobooks, but if there is a way to support you more directly and give you more of the cash, we would like to take that option than feed the amazon leech.

Cheers

Thanks Ryk for many hours of enjoyment for me and my kids.

]]> General Discussion Vogel https://frontierssaga.com/community/general-discussion/how-is-ryk/ Tension between Scott and Nash in part three https://frontierssaga.com/community/general-discussion/tension-between-scott-and-nash-in-part-three/ Sun, 29 Jan 2023 22:45:18 +0000 I just read all 35 books since the beginning of December.  I could not put it down!!!  I really love the Nathan/Jessica relationship.  It was especially enjoyable in the second part.  At the end of 2.15, Jessica says that she is going to stick with Nathan, but in 3.1 they have obviously been apart at least two years.  Why?  Also, he refers to resenting having her with him for protection all the time in one of the books and in another he says she is like Chiqua, heavily implying that Jessica is selfish, but isn't open about it like Chiqua.  What is causing all of this tension?

So what do you all think is up and anybody else like me wish that the tension would abate and there were more tender together moments for them?
