In episode 6, the newly repaired port fighter alley on the Aurora is described as holding 26 Takaran interceptors (2 in ready launch position and 24 stored along either side of the bay). A similar number of interceptors is said to occupy the starboard alley. Doing the math reveals that there were 52 interceptors aboard when the Aurora departed the Pallax shipyards. But, how many shuttles would the alleys hold if they were repurposed to house shuttles rather than interceptors? The ship size reference on the Concept Art page shows that shuttles are smaller than Falcons/Super Falcons, but are shuttles smaller than or similar in size of the Takaran interceptors or EDF Eagles/Alliance Super Eagles?

The shuttles would probably be much more blocky and possibly taller then the fighters, but just based on overall dimensions the fighters would be longer and wider (with the Eagles wings in fr space flight, they would probably be about the same width)

Wings retracted, Eages/Super Eagles have basically the same foot print as a utility shuttle, not including the nose of the Eagle from the intakes forward. You can actually fit more Eagles in there than Corinari or Takaran fighters, as their wings do not retract/fold in any way.

Size, biggest to smallest (as far as footprint) of ships that can fit inside the Aurora/Celestia:
>Scout Ship/Gunship (Can only fit in main hangar bay, 1 at a time, when entire back end is open to space)
>Troop/Cargo shuttle (Has to use center transfer airlock, cannot transfer to fighter alley, as it's too long to fit in forward airlock/elevator.)
>Falcon/Super Falcon
>Takaran FTL Comm Drone/KKV
>EDF Anti-ship Missiles
>EDF Torpedoes (Conventional or nuclear warheads)
>Corinari/Takaran Fighters
>Personnel Shuttle
>Eagle/Super Eagle
>Utility/Combat Shuttle
>Quad Rail gun slugs (about the size of a large pickup truck)
>Mini Rail gun slugs (about the size of a motorcycle)

What about a boxcar? Do those fall somewhere on the list as well? And is there a chance we could see an updated version of the ship size references to include an Eagle/Super Eagle after episode 15 is released? Maybe have it parked to the side of the boxcar behind the Falcon/Super Falcon.

Boxcars don't fit inside. They are too wide, and too tall. Hell, you could sling a scout ship under them, that's how big they are.

There will be more size comparison stuff in the future. We have a new version of the previous size comparison image that has an Eagle on it. We're working on getting a few other ships there as well before putting it up.

We're also working on ortho sheets for all ships. Once done, We'll put them all on one sheet for size comparison.
