Smaller jump drives

Hi,Just completed book 10, great read so far. Just like to make a suggestion, as Book 10 finished with Yanni asking Prince Casimir for help! Due to the state of the Takara system they could not send Space ships, but could not the Takara Science/Engineers have developed a combined power and miniature jump drive. These could fit in missiles to explode just outside or inside a space ship. They also could fit into small repair space suits. These could be used to get close to space ship sides undetected to get inside and capture the ship.
