I found and have been reading your work on the kindle lending library for free and was just curious if you received compensation for your work from Amazon when I pay nothing to to read the books?
I just hope that I have not been enjoying your hard and great work without you getting something out of it!

Lookin forward to the next one ty

Amazon does compensate us for borrowed books. The rate varies, depending on the size of the money pool and the number of borrows, but since my books are priced at $2.99, I generally receive about the same for borrows as I do for purchases. (About $2.) Thanks for your concern.

That's fascinating! I would not have guessed that was the case. It certainly seems to explain why Amazon only allows each sold "book" to be loaned once!

So the thing to do would be borrow the book for your first read... then buy the book as you re-read the series a few months later.

Good call, did not know it worked that way. Will borrow before I buy from now on.
